Peruvian Naturals has donated this month’s earnings pledge to coffee farmer Valerio in the Pimpingos district of Cajamarca. According to her Kiva profile:
Valerio’s story
Valerio is 47 years old. He is a single father. He lives in his own home which made of rustic materials with his children in the Pimpingos district in the province of Cutervo within the Cajamarca department in Peru. He has very good work and personal references from the residents in his area. The inhabitants of the region mainly work in agriculture, business, and livestock.
He is dedicated to agriculture, specifically growing Catimor coffee. He has more than 14 years of experience in this field. He is requesting a loan to invest in the purchase of fertilizers and to pay his laborers. With this, he will be able to earn greater profits for himself and his family.
A loan of $625 helps to invest in the purchase of fertilizers and to pay his laborers.
